The Florida State Park Plein Air Painting Tour – Painting each of Florida's State Parks on location
This weekend I decided to paint the view of Lake Eustis from the city boat ramp. I wanted to paint this view before, but the wind was blowing across the lake and it was too cold for me stand!
This time around the wind was still blowing, but the sun was warm and the breeze felt nice. The old live oak covered in spanish moss is what caught my eye at first, then as I was painting a fleet of sailboats began racing back and forth across the lake.
Before I knew it, my time was up and I had to pack up the painting to go. I think the palms on the left side still need some work, but think I did capture the sunny breezy day.
I think your right Sharon that youe did capture the verybeautiful day! Your painting is more beautiful than thescene! Thanks for sharing and glad the day was warm
Thank you Margé! We’ve been having such nice weather these past few weeks, so nice to be out enjoying it😄
