The Florida State Park Plein Air Painting Tour – Painting each of Florida's State Parks on location

Park #48 – Little Manatee River State Park

I spent a quiet afternoon painting at Little Manatee River. First I drove around the park roads scouting for a good painting location. I traveled past the picnic tables all the way back to the crowded camp area. I even walked the 1 mile loop trail along the oxbow of the Little Manatee River. For some reason, I must’ve had a one track mind that day, as I didn’t take very many photos of the park! Anyways, I did find a good spot to paint with a view overlooking a tree with bright yellow green new spring growth. Spring has definitely arrived!
