The Florida State Park Plein Air Painting Tour – Painting each of Florida's State Parks on location

Park #29 – Lake June-in-Winter Scrub State Park

After spending the morning at Highlands Hammock State Park, we drove down the road a few miles to Lake June-in-Winter Scrub State Park. The sun was getting low in the sky, casting long shadows against the mowed grass. I painted at the top of the hill looking down the path towards the lake. Usually there are Scrub Jays at this park, but we didn’t see them this time. But I did hear an owl hoot a time or two! For more information on this park, visit their website
