The Florida State Park Plein Air Painting Tour – Painting each of Florida's State Parks on location

Park #22 – Troy Springs State park

We arrived at Troy Springs State Park on a really nice sunny clear morning. Unfortunately, the springs weren’t clear. Recent rains had left the spring cloudy with river water. That didn’t stop a large group of snorkelers from exploring the springs. As I painted, I kept hearing them clearing their blow pipes – they sounded like wounded manatees! The trees had all lost their leaves, but there was plenty of green on the moss covered rocks on the waters edge.
