The Florida State Park Plein Air Painting Tour – Painting each of Florida's State Parks on location

W.I.S.H. List – Already Gone

Just drove by the purple pasture today only to see a John Deere mowing it down! I’ve learned if I want to paint something I need to do it fast (or at least take a picture) before it is torn down, bulldozed or mowed! I was sad to see the flowers flattened – but a Coyote was happy about it. I saw him out in the open field most likely catching little mice & such disrupted by the tractor. Once again I didn’t have my camera! Gotta stop leaving it on my desk.

3 days before the mowing
