The Florida State Park Plein Air Painting Tour – Painting each of Florida's State Parks on location

Diggin’ the Farmers Tan!

Saturday was the best weather day we’ve had in months. Finally a warm sunny day without wind! And I actually got a bit of tan on my arms from the sun.

My first choice for painting had some newly installed “no trespassing” signs – so I picked another spot near  a local fire station that has a hilly view of the blooming purple toad flax. Unfortunately the shrubby trees didn’t make good focal points & I struggled to make a decent painting! Oh well, at least it was good practice and a chance to enjoy the weather.

I also got to meet a few of our local firefighters – Thanks guys for bringing me the cold bottled water 🙂
